I always want to laugh when my boss pronounce "poster" a "bolster". Somehow I always find that his ang mo carries some Malaysian accent. Distinct difference from my ex-boss who reads Harry Potter.... hahahaha .. Forgive me for laughing...

I dragged my tired and grouchy body out of bed on a Saturday morning. Have to attend a mini section retreat in Kukup. I hate getting up early when I have a chance to sleep in . Especially when I am so sleep deprived.

Moreover , I when ever I think of kampong , I will link it with "smelly", "hot", "ulu", "mosquitoes" and dont really look forward to it. Can't really link it with anything nice... hahahah....

The night before, I thought that it was going to be at least a 3 – 4 hours trip and decided to sleep on the way instead, so I drank a bit more the night before the trip.

It turns out that the mini van was too bumpy for me to be able to get any sleep.

Much to my surprise , we met 9 am at Yishun mrt, and reached the destination before noon. We decided to have an early lunch in by the sea overseeing the lots of kelong

NO AIRCON !!!! HOT!!! I dun remember anything call 'sea breeze'...

Those armed with SLRs started snapping. I found out later that the place is called Kukup Laut, a century old fishing village http://www.mykukup.com/ .

This is where we stayed. No 39.. Its BIG man.... Looks like someone's house and is super CLEAN!!

3 person occupying a 8 person room... I started scaring people on what will happen on the empty beds at night .... LOL

This is when I found something likable about the place. Sun is good. I sat here to watch show on my iPhone and chat.

Within an hour or so , the water is gone !

The KTV system bungalow that we are staying at sucks. The owner says that her new songs are being “alibaba-ed” (stolen) . In the end, most of us ended up sleeping as it was also drizzling outside.

Those living opposite and next door to us are already having KTV sessions when we reached and the singing did not stop till past midnight.

Late afternoon, I got bored and went out for a walk since the rain had stopped.

This is that we are walkin on.. Wonder anyone fall over ?

Noticed that some of the house are really nice. just like the one i am staying in!

They are still expanding.

Irealised the outlets to our toilet bowls and taps ... erhmmmm . It is not smelly though... dunno why.

I noticed that there is a lot of living things beneath ... mudskippers .. and ... i also dunno what la.

The exciting part starts in the evening.
BBQ dinner is included in the package and there are people who does all the barbequing , our job is just to eat !

The people there brought along asked if we will be interested in sky lantern & fireworks. Appearently, everyone left the dinner table to join in the haggling session them.
