In anticipation of my upcoming bridal photoshoot , I decided that I want to take some pre-wedding photos on my own.
Because
(1) I want to have more photo of myself in gowns ... especially those with vibrant colours and I wonder how will I look in those
(2) I want to try out the bridal make up , espacially after rhinoplastry, lip revison & blepharoplasty. Well, those close enough to me will know how long ago I have been at these.
So , in order to cut cost , a logicial choice would be to take in JB. Needless to say, was con by the taxi drivers to pay more than the what's on the meter cos it is raining, and ended up in the wrong place as I didn't know that "ta ma" & sentosa are actually 2 different places. Goondu right ?
Anyway , to cut the story short , I ended up with a bridal studio in sentosa called "CHRISTABEL Wedding Couture" served by a lady named Karen whom I think is an irresponsible & lying bitch. Actually I feel that most of the staffs are liars.
I noticed a lot of their gown were quite small in size and I raised this concern to her. She assured me that the dresses in the shops can be altered. And their process is 1 day for gown selection and another day for photoshoot. I told her that I do not want to travel twice to the shop and if it is alright to do both in the same day. She said no problem. Sound pro right ?
I also pointed to the golden gown at the display and asked if I could have that gown as one of my outfit. She explain that I could choose all the gowns in the shop. I again told her this is an issue which I am not comfy with. She quicly assured that only some of them apply and I could choose the most. She even took one one cute feather gown and told me that is a very interesting gown I could choose for the photoshoot.
After tough negotiation with this woman , my package details is like that
8x12 album with 33 poses on 10 pages
1 CD with the selected 33 poses + additional 5 poses
1 8x10 table top
5 gowns
COSTING : RM 1088
Which is about RM$33 for each pose which translates into about $14.50 sing dollars each pose. Which is still relatively much cheaper than buying more poses from my SG bridal package which cost you at least S$60 - S$80 each pose. Somemore , I get more outfits....
Most shops quoted 988 , this shop is a RM100 more expensive which I still decide to take up with them cos me and Karen ( who is my friend who share the same name as that bitch ) thinks that their gown and make up and photos look more new , nicer and professional than the rest. Anyway , RM100 is about 43 sg dollars .... Why not ?
So why did I call that lady who serve me an irresponsible and lying bitch (shall be termed as LB from now) ?
First, we have agreed that she will pick me up from city square , JB, on the following Tuesday which is the photoshoot day, and asked me to wait at RHB Bank.
And she did not turn up nor gave me a call.
So I took a cab to the shop and when I stepped into the shop the staffs look at me curiously. I kept asking for that LB, but another lady whom I feel is totally inflexible , hereby termed as inflexible woman ( IW ) told me she is out and will return later.
Naturally I complained about LB no show. Those in the shop no idea that there is a photoshoot session on the day. Obviously nothing have been arranged by that LB.
TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE.
So that IW came over and serve me. She is totally not customer orientated. Seeing that I am already steaming with anger, instead of pacifying me, she do everything to provoke me further.
It came to gown selection with this IW. What totally turned me off is when IW told me that I could only choose gown form the last 2 cupboard , out of the at least 8 cupboards in the shop. ( So 6 cupboard out of 8 is called "some" by the LB har... )
I insisted to that IW saying it is impossible cos that LB even recommended me the feather gown which is outside the 2 cupboards.
She insisted that that dress is a special offer LB had for me and only that dress .... MY FOOT !!!
Then out of the 2 silly cupboard there are many which I chose and that IW told me that they cannot be altered. Seriously , between the LB and IW, one of them is lying. I keep asking for LB and then IW tells me she MC.
On top of that the IW totally dunno how to help with the gown picking. The most tulan thing part is that this IW tells me that I can only choose 4 gown and one of them must be traditional dress. Which was never in our negotation. I told her that the reciept stated clearly is "5 gowns" she insisted that 5 gown refers to 4 gown + 1 traditional. WTF.
I didnt want to make a big fuss nor quarrel with her cos she is totally inflexible and God know what will these evil people do to my makeup and photos later.....
And the photographer ...... I dun think can make it .... quite expected as everything is arranged last minute.... Enough said ......
Anyway , this is after my last outfit and before they take down my Spanish curls.
